Condition: Excellent. There are two small discrete mends and at the edge of the center back scallop the reseau (background mesh) is torn in a 1/2" X 1" area. Measurements: 35" x 18". Comments: True, handmade Chantilly lace is very unlike its machine-made, plentiful cousin. In hand-made Chantilly, the design elements are intricately worked and subtly shaded. And once you've felt how soft and silky the real lace is, it is difficult to be satisfied with anything of lesser quality!
