Materials:
Sprung steel bands wrapped in thread and painted cream; cotton webbing, brass and steel findings, brass buckle.

Label: Buckle stamped, "J.W. Bradley's Pat. Duplex Blott's Pat. Nov 7 1865".  Waistband stamped in red, "Empress ____", "No 25  50 Springs", et. al. that I can't read.

Condition: Very Good. All but one hoop intact; steel bands have worn through their coverings in places esp. on bottom bands; some rust; waistband frayed; purple stain on back.

Measurements: W, 22"-27"; L, 39"; Bottom C, 122".

Comments: Original mid 19th century hoops are becoming scarce. The brass buckle on the waistband of this one is quite ornate.
