Comments: Rare early 19th C. silk
shoes are made from a delightful graphic figured silk. Silk ribbon
rosettes and a band of ruching decorate the vamps. Drawstrings at each
shoe's throat and ribbon ankle ties secure the shoe to the foot. The
crescent shaped heels are typical of the 1820s. Charming additions to
any early 19th c. shoe collection!
