Comments: I love the 1920s for the simple clean silhouettes made with amazing fabrics and beading. The dress offered here is very special.  The gold lace has a small floral pattern which is set off by the peach silk lining (visible under the gold). A very soft peach silk lace is inset into the dress. This lace has a stylized and eccentric Deco pattern. Both the dress hem and back capelet end in alternating scallops of the gold and peach laces. At the drop waist is a 3 inch band of beading. Small, faceted silver-pink balls form the background of the bead design; starbursts of twisted bugle beads are inset into the overall design. The effect of the pink-silver beading on the gold and peach laces is magical!
